FAQs

Q?What do your websites cost?
A.

Our prices depend on many different factors, it is impossible to say in one sentence. You should avoid any designer who can answer this question without a long talk.

The best way to get a cost from us is to give us a call. We will ask a few simple questions about what you are looking for in a website, what type of interaction it would need, design features, etc. Then we will be able to give you a rough estimate of what it might cost. If you are still interested after the rough estimate, we can then get together to discuss further and come up with a firm quote.

If you speak with a designer who gives you an instant quote, you should run away fast! It is like buying a car. The salesman will want all the details you are looking for before pricing a car for you. The same holds true for websites. It all depends on features of the site. The price can range from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars.

Q?I need some changes on my website or template. Can you do this?
A.

Absolutely! For one time changes, we will provide an estimate before beginning the work and charge at our standard hourly rate. If you see yourself needing regular maintenance, one of our Maintenance Plans may be more cost-effective for you.

Q?What is involved in setting up an E-Commerce Website?
A.

To start, you will need a site design with the regular elements such as a contact form, about us page, etc. For basic eCommerce, you will need: an SSL certificate, merchant account, a payment gateway (to accept payment), shopping cart, shipping ID number (to ship your goods), database and items to sell. If you have a small site with few products, PayPal may be used for your payment gateway. We can help you with all of these items.

Q?When will I start to see results after my site has been optimized?
A.

The timeframe varies for all sites. Some sites can take a few weeks others months to see progress in the search engines. Beware of anyone that promises you first page rankings. These companies create link farms, keyword spamming, duplicate content and other illegal practices of SEO and put your site at risk of being banned from the web.  Your website address is the same as your phone number when it comes to getting it out there.  You MUST advertise your website on all of your marketing materials in order to get your web address known.

Q?Why do you need social media marketing?
A.

Social media marketing is not only the way marketing will be done in the future, but it is the foundation for successful businesses now. When you take your brand to where people are, you no longer have to struggle to search for potential clients. You just have to connect with them. Taking time to connect with your customers on social media shows that you care and value them which helps you build strong bonds.

Q?Who will I work with during my project?
A.

Great question! Many firms will shop out work to freelancers or interns. Some firms do not permit clients to speak with their designer or developer. With Jer-Vic, Inc., you will work directly with your designer and/or developer throughout your entire project from start to finish.

Q?Can you maintain my Social Media presence?

Q?How long will it take to design my website?
